Potty Success
I know, how mundane.
She has asked to sit on the potty a few times today and yesterday. Yesterday, no luck. She sat. Chas and I read until our bodies ached and our mouths were dry. Nothing in the potty. Although when she decided that she was done, she properly used toilet paper, through it in the big potty, flushed the toilet and washed her hands.
Today, before her bath, I sat and read with her. Then added her feet to a bowl of warm water. (Desperate? Yes.) Then I added the sound of running water in the bathroom sink. After 45 minutes, success. A major amount of pee in the potty. Both Chas and I were very proud and congratulated her enthusiastically.
Chas allowed Angie to run through the house this evening with no bottoms on. (Desperate? Yes.) She annointed the floor and then decided to sit on the potty again. Minor success (a few droplets), but success to be sure.
We hope this continues tomorrow.
